Unity In Community At Selfie On Sea Launch
Unity In Community attended the launch of Southend’s wonderful new charitable project – Selfie On Sea – which has opened at the Royals Shopping Centre.
The project raised funds for ‘Lady McAdden Breast Cancer Trust’ and offers a fantastic opportunity to get some great selfies with friends and family.
Unity In Community Executive Chairwoman – Christine Nichols – is a Trustee of Lady McAdden and one of the driving forces behind Selfie-on-Sea, providing logistical support and sponsorship via Atlantic Pacific.
Christine has been a volunteer during the set up and build of the project, and will be helping to staff the store over the coming weeks.
Featured in the photos below are Chrissy, Kerry Borg and Ashley Nichols from Atlantic Pacific with Stephen Habermel, Mayor of Southend, who cut the ribbon at the opening. Also seen are Tracy Habermel (Mayoress), Anna Firth (Southend West MP), and Su Harrison from Radio Essex.
You can find out more about the project on the Selfie On Sea facebook page HERE.
