Unity In Community – The King And I
Unity In Community Executive Chairwoman Christine Nichols, and Atlantic Pacific Group Chairman Ashley Nichols, were delighted and honoured to represent Atlantic Pacific Global Logistics during this past week at two special King’s Award for Enterprise receptions.
On Monday 8th July, Christine and Ashley attended a reception for the Essex based winners of this year’s award, hosted by Jill Reeves, Lady Chairman of Essex County Council and Jennifer Tolhurst, Lord Lieutenant of Essex.
Then, on the evening of Tuesday 9th July, the official King’s Award for Enterprise reception took place at Windsor Castle hosted by His Majesty The King, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester and the Duke of Kent, where Christine was once more honoured to represent Atlantic Pacific and celebrate its achievements in international trade.
The event was a great networking opportunity with this year’s winners, providing a chance to meet some of the most prestigious business people in the UK. Christine also had the unique and special opportunity to talk to His Majesty about Atlantic Pacific and women in transport and logistics.
It’s not everyday that Unity In Community get to meet the King!
