Presents For Barnardo’s Toy Appeal

The London Freight Club’s annual toy appeal for Barnardo’s culminated with their Christmas lunch at the Grand Connaught Rooms on the 15th December. Hundreds of presents were brought along by members and guests to be donated to Barnardos.

Barnardo’s is one of the leading children’s charities in the UK. Every year, they provide ongoing support for over 380,000 children, young people, parents and carers, through their services and partnerships.

Atlantic Pacific’s Unity In Community team were in attendance with the LFC’s Vice Chairwomen, and Chairwomen of Unity In Community, Christine Nichols, along with Atlantic Pacific’s Julie Curran who was thanked by the club and received a small gift thanking her for organising the toy appeal (pictured below).

A cheque was also presented to the Orchid Cancer Appeal.
