It’s festival season again in the UK and many acts will be getting ready for the UK’s largest music festival at Glastonbury, starting 22nd June.
Atlantic Pacific, in conjunction with our charitable arm ‘Unity-in-Community’ , will be supporting and partnering with a few such events as we always do.
However, far from the madding crowds of Somerset, we are partnering with the slightly smaller Leigh Folk Festival, which runs from Thursday 23rd June through to Sunday 26th, near Southend-On-Sea, Essex.
After a gap of two years due to the pandemic, the event is finally back and offers four days of free entertainment including; music, dance, poetry, comedy, food, crafters, workshops and more.
The 2022 Festival is a big one – as the organisers celebrate the 30th anniversary of the event and is expected to attract 20,000 people over the four days, with over a hundred artists performing in over a dozen venues.
Focused around the beautiful Victorian backdrop of Leigh Library Gardens, the event will branch out into an array of spaces, venues and community hubs nearby, and we highly recommend that Essex ‘folk’ take a look.
