Billericay Town Women Don New Shirts
Billericay Town Women’s football team donned Atlantic Pacific shirts for the first time this weekend as they played their second home game of the season.
Unity In Community’s Executive Chairwoman Chrissy Nichols, was in attendance at the New Lodge Stadium to see Billericay gain a hard fought 2-1 win against Cheltenham.
Both Billericay goals were scored by Jessica Francis-Weir, who was also awarded with the player of the match. Some highlights of the game can be viewed below.
Unity In Community is the charitable arm of Atlantic Pacific Group, who are delighted to be one of the sponsors for the women’s football team this year. The team play in the FA Women’s National League Division Premier South, the third tier of women’s football in the UK, after being promoted two seasons ago.
We highly recommend taking in a game or more to support the ladies in grass-root football this season.
In the meantime, below are some images from the weekend, which include Chrissy being pictured with Beau Parker, Captain for Billericay Town Women’s & Girls, and Greg Lake, Chairman of Billericay.
